Using Journey 2 Christ

Journey 2 Christ is a free application for reading Scripture, praying, and working through devotional material. There is nothing to buy, no subscription, and no advertising. Using it means accepting what is on this page.

This application is not medical care, mental health treatment, counselling, legal advice, or an emergency service. It cannot assess how you are, and nothing in it should take the place of a doctor, a therapist, a pastor or emergency services.

If you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself, please contact your local emergency number or a crisis line. In the United States and Canada you can call or text 988. Find A Helpline lists services in around 130 countries.

You do not need an account. If you create one, keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think somebody else has it.

You can delete your account at any time from Privacy and data in your settings. That removes your rows from our database and cannot be undone. We may close an account that is being used for the things listed under acceptable use below.

Your prayers, notes, highlights and reflections are yours. We claim no ownership of them, we do not publish them, and we do not use them to train anything.

We store them only to give them back to you on your other devices. See the privacy policy for exactly where they go and how to remove them.

The journeys, sessions, prayer guides, resource articles, design and software are ours. You are welcome to read them, quote them in the ordinary way, and share links to them. Please do not copy the library wholesale or republish it as your own.

Scripture is a different matter. The King James Version, the World English Bible and the King James Apocrypha are in the public domain, and nothing here creates any claim over them. Bible and text sources sets out where each text came from and what rights apply.

Please do not attempt to reach other people’s accounts, scrape the application wholesale, interfere with how it runs for others, or use it to distribute anything harmful.

This is a small project. It is offered as it is, without a promise that it will always be available or free of faults, and without warranties of any kind so far as the law allows. We may change or withdraw features.

What you have written is stored on your own device as well as on our server, and that is deliberate: if this application went away tomorrow, your writing would still be on your device until you cleared it. Keeping your own copy of anything you would not want to lose is worth doing, and you can export it all from Privacy and data.

Some resources link to organisations outside Journey 2 Christ, including support services. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they contain.

If these terms change, this page changes and the dates at the top move.
