Every feature here is measured against one question before it is built: does this help somebody spend real time with God, or does it help this application keep somebody looking at it?

Do not help people spend more time looking at an app. Help them spend more time looking toward Christ.

Journey 2 Christ is a free Christian project run by one person in Manitoba, Canada. It is not a company and it is not incorporated. Nothing is sold, there is no advertising, and it is paid for personally. See legal information.

• Short by design. Every practice states its cost in minutes before you begin. One minute is a real option.
• Scripture at the centre. The Bible is the point. Everything else exists to get you there and then get out of the way.
• No streaks, no pressure. Progress is kept so you can find your place again, never as a score to protect.
• Private. Your prayers, notes and highlights are yours. There is no prayer wall and no feed anywhere in this application.

Scripture is shown in the King James Version and in the World English Bible, both of which are in the public domain. Every passage is labelled with the translation it came from.

Nothing copyrighted is bundled here, and no narration is connected until the rights to it are.

The Apocrypha is the King James Version Apocrypha, the standardised 1769 text, in the public domain. It is a separate collection outside the 66-book Protestant canon this app uses for its Bible, and it is kept in its own section. Without an account, what you do is stored in your own browser on your own device. With an account, your prayers, notes, highlights and progress sync to our database so they are on every device you sign in to.

Nobody at Journey 2 Christ reads them, no part of the application shows them to anybody but you, they are never sent to analytics or error reporting, and they are not used to train anything.

This site uses cookieless analytics that count page views without identifying anybody and set no cookies. Signing in sets an authentication cookie, and that is the only cookie here.

You can export everything you have written, or delete your account and its data permanently, from Privacy and data in your settings. The privacy policy sets out exactly what is stored and where it goes.
