Why this exists
Journey 2 Christ helps busy, distracted people spend intentional time with God and leads them gradually deeper into Scripture.
Most of what competes for your attention is designed to keep you looking at it. This is not. Every feature here is measured against a single question before it is built.
Do not help people spend more time looking at an app. Help them spend more time looking toward Christ.
What you can expect
Short by design
Every practice states its cost in minutes before you begin. One minute is a real option.
Scripture at the centre
The Bible is the point. Everything else exists to get you there and then get out of the way.
No streaks, no pressure
Progress is kept so you can find your place again, never as a score to protect.
Yours, privately
Your prayers, notes and highlights belong to you. Nothing here is a feed, and nothing is shared.
Scripture and licensing
Scripture is shown in the King James Version and in the World English Bible, both of which are in the public domain. Where the older wording would be misread rather than merely sound old, the plainer text is used, and every passage is labelled with the translation it came from.
Licensed translations and narration are being prepared. Nothing copyrighted is bundled here, and no audio is connected until the rights to it are.
The Apocrypha is the King James Version Apocrypha, the standardized 1769 text, in the public domain. It came from eBible.org, which credits it courtesy of the Crosswire Bible Society. It is a separate collection outside the 66-book Protestant canon this app uses for its Bible, and it is kept in its own section.

Everything you save lives on this device. There is no account, no server holding your data, and no analytics. Your prayers, notes and highlights are not read by anybody, are not used to train anything, and are not shared.
The little that is stored about you is a first name, if you choose to give one. No birth date, no location, no gender, no occupation. You can export everything or delete it from Privacy and data in your profile.
