Doubt

One of the most honest prayers in the Gospels is a man saying he believes and asking for help with the part of him that does not. Jesus answers him. Doubt held out in the open has always been welcome here.

And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.

Mark 9:24KJV

Both halves of the sentence are true at once, and that is allowed.
