Step 2 of 3

Through, not around

Psalm 23 does not promise a route that misses the dark. It promises company inside it, which is a smaller claim and a far more useful one.

Read

Psalm 23:1–4KJV

Verse 1. [A Psalm of David.] The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. Verse 2. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. Verse 3. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Verse 4. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Think about this

What are you asking God to remove that he may intend to walk you through?

Pray

Be with me in this rather than only beyond it.

These are words to start from, not words you have to use.
