Verse 19. Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: Verse 20. For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

Ephesians 4:26–27KJV

Verse 26. Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Verse 27. Neither give place to the devil.

Anger is not forbidden here. What is addressed is what is done with it, and how long it is kept.

Proverbs 15:1KJV

Verse 1. A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.

Verse 11. A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards.
